Academy for Global Citizenship Volunteer Day & Luncheon

Join Les Dames Chicago for a day at the Academy for Global Citizenship, where Dame Stacey Whitney works as the Culinary Director! Join Stacey to harvest food from the Academy for Global Citizenship garden (in greenhouses) and get a tour of the campus. From there, we will enjoy lunch at the school and learn more about their mission.

As a non-profit Chicago public charter school located on the city’s urban southwest side, AGC's innovative educational model develops mindful leaders in an entirely new learning environment rooted in wonder, sustainability, and community. Their holistic, evidence-based approach was designed to foster systemic change, and they aim to inspire the future of education by incubating, evaluating, and disseminating their best practices with the world.
